Use a quad pose with crab reach to improve rotational strength

A basic flow program

So we’re going to go over a simple flow programs.
Let’s assume that you already did your mobility and release program.
What we’re working on is strengthen up the core through flow.

Quad pose

So first thing, get into a quad pose. Shoulders are going to be over knee, sorry, over your hands, and then your knees are going to be underneath your hips, holding, pressing from the floor. And I want you to press from the media portion of your hand here, right?

Transition to a crab reach

So pressing from the medial portion of your hand…now we’re gonna go into a crab reach.

Our transition turn foot plant opposite hand is going to go in between knees reach, turn right back over, back into the quad pose.

One more time.

  • Turn.
  • Plant.
  • Thrust glute.
  • Rotate that core over.
  • Right back down into a quad pose.

So this is going to be done at a moderate pace.

Try not to rush through it.

Take your time when you’re talking about moving and transitioning into each pose.

All right, let me know any questions you have as you try it!
